The room was very well organized and clean. Plus it had a warm feeling, so we felt really comfortable there. (2 adults and a small baby.) The check in and check out process was really easy and quick. Especially because if you book online, you don't even need to speak to a human being. They have a machine which scans the QR-code you get after booking a room and there is a stack of cards. You pick one of them and you can pair your reservation and room number to that card. Later on you use that card during your stay to open your room. They even have a closed parking area outside and inside (deep garage). For that you have to pay some extra money but it is convenient. They have a cafeteria where we had a breakfast. The food is nothing extraordinary, but fresh and decent. Which we liked that they even had a special feeding chair for our baby. The staff was friendly. If we have to stay at Hamburg for night, we definitely go back there. It was worth the price.

Microwave, tea /coffee facilities, fridge PLUS a plastic box containing cutlery, plates and washing up liquid, tea towel etc with the box doubling as a washing up bowl. A first for me and so useful. Housekeeping top class Beds so comfortable, would have brought mine home but too big for my suitcase.😅 Restaurant was super , service always with a smile despite being rushed off their feet at times! Breakfast was exceptional. Such a huge choice to suit almost everyone and most diets. A lovely airy and large breakfast room. Reception so kind and helpful and again, happy smiling faces from all which I know isn't always easy working in hospitality. Bus stop around the corner to the City and every 20 mins. Nearby small supermarket with large range of products and bakery next to it. Would certainly stay here again !

Location - we knew it was not in the center of hamburg, but we found going anywhere very easy with the buses. 112 in particular very useful. Comes 10 mins in peak times 20 at more off peak times. Very punctual. 20 minutes into town. 9am group day passes made it very reasonable to travel around. Size - very big room. Fridge and kettle - great. Our room was not modern but we liked it! The hotel bar was nice and reasonable. Cash or room tab (no card). There is nothing much around the hotel, small convenience store with not long hours but we got a few bits then did a shop in center and took it back on the bus. We arrived late to the hotel in the evening and no restaurants around but there was plenty of takeaway options on Uber eats fyi. The hotel also has a restaurant should you opt for that.

Parking was easy and wifi was excellent. The room was a good size and spotlessly clean. Housekeeping knocked on the door the days after our check in just to ensure we had enough coffee etc (most places will ignore you completely unless you specifically ask to have your room made up so this bit of thoughtfulness was a pleasant surprise)
